Wk43 - Strong Enough to Be Kind

Master Your Reaction. Lead by Example. Help with Discernment.

“Wherever there is a human being, we have an opportunity for kindness.”

— Seneca, On the Happy Life, 24.2–3, as translated in your supplied reading

Our character takes shape in everyday encounters—especially when someone tests our patience, rejects our advice or overlooks our effort. This week’s study explores the strength required to respond with kindness while maintaining clear judgment and sound boundaries.

Building on our recent work on values and priorities, Week 43 asks us to put those principles into practice with the people around us. We’ll examine our assumptions, turn irritation into useful action and let our conduct give credibility to our words. We’ll also consider when helping supports growth and when stepping back allows someone to take responsibility.
