Members’ Update 041925

And Now We Are 15 Strong

Gentlemen,

As discussed and voted on by the members whim attended the ‘25 Spring Gathering, the following members were issued Member Not In Good Standing notices on 032425. AS per those members’ responses:

• Justin Denevan apologized for his lack of attendance and advised that he is all in. JD intends to attend the ‘25 Summer Gathering.

• TJ Thompson and Bryan Kudlek have been DOR (Dropped On Request). These members advised that, by choice, they would not be attending our regularly scheduled [required] Gatherings and wished to renounce their membership.

• Mitch Moorhead did not respond to the MNIGS notice, has never paid our required dues (currently behind by $2,500) and hasn’t fully attended a Gathering since 2018.

  • For official resolution, we will vote on his membership status at our next Gathering, as per our bylaws.

We are currently 15 members strong, with a 100% confirmation on attendance for the ‘25 Summer Gathering in Cody WY. In addition, we’ve got two guests joining us, maybe three. Those individuals are:

• Brecken Slaughter - He will be attending shortly after graduating USMC Officer Candidate School. This will likely be my last opportunity to spend “guys only” time with him for the next few years.

  • From there, Brecken will have one more semester at Texas Tech, finishing his Mechanical Engineering degree, and then be off to complete his Officer training and them Flight School.

• “Rowdy” Blake Lowry - He will be attending as an introduction to the Clan, for potential future consideration as a Prospective Member. He’s an interesting guy who seems to have his head on straight. I think he could be good for OHC and OHC could be good for him. He’s a good ol’ country boy. I think y’all will like him!

  • Prior to attending, we will issue him a questionnaire. This will become a new part of our Prospect consideration process. PLEASE let me know what questions you would like him to answer.

  • We gave him the nickname “Rowdy” because he’s training for an MMA fight and the best description of his fighting style is rowdy.

• Tim Swan - Tim has advised that he will likely be joining us for the Patch Holders’ Ride as well as the Gathering, for consideration as a Prospective Member.

  • We are waiting for Tim’s official confirmation on attending. Tim has been known to most of us for serval years.

  • Prior to attending, we will issue him a questionnaire. This will become a new part of our Prospect consideration process. PLEASE let me know what questions you would like him to answer.

If anyone else has a guest you would like to invite, let me know ASAP. We need to ensure that we’ve got enough room, ATVs, golf spots, etc.

For each of you that accepted our “BE ONE” challenge coins, your writeup explaining why you are in OHC and what OHC means to you personally is due. These will be posted/archived here on our website and reviewed at our next Gathering. Please email those to info@outsidershc.com.
